I have exciting news for the 160 Head Start partners who are currently considering or implementing ReadyRosie as their Parenting Curriculum.

As of September 12th, 2019 The Office of Head Start and The National Center on Parent, Family, and Community Engagement has released the updated review of Parenting Curricula Review Databases. This updated review verifies ReadyRosie is a research-based parenting curriculum. In 2012, the year ReadyRosie was founded, ReadyRosie initiated a study in partnership with Penn State University on changes in the maternal language of mothers from low-income families. ReadyRosie has always had a deep commitment to research and evaluation. Since then, follow-up evaluations of ReadyRosie by researchers at the University of Pittsburgh, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and others have documented positive outcomes for both schools and families.

Data that has been collected from individual Head Start organizations implementing the ReadyRosie Parenting Curriculum tells the story of how family engagement is linked to learning and child development objectives, a true measure of success. We appreciate the patience and perseverance of our Head Start partners in taking the time to review the ReadyRosie research.

If your Head Start program has been waiting on these updated review results to make a parenting curriculum selection, please contact us at info@readyrosie.com to learn more about how ReadyRosie is reaching and supporting this generation of families.
